Who is SASVA?

SASVA was formed late in 2020 by formal membership of 20+ people from diverse backgrounds and ages. This includes people with 20yrs experience in solar vehicle building and training of young people. We encompass industry figures, teachers, students, apprentices and graduates with diverse trade and engineering expertise.

It is the unswerving commitment of the solar vehicle team to renewable energy and Sustainability, which has been responsible for pushing the message of a greener future to the wider Australian community

Sponsoring

Sponsoring a solar car team reaps rewards in multiple facets. This can assist to meet your company goals in promoting sustainability and youth development.

Benefits also include:
• Promoting of youth skills and character development through adventure engineering
• Placement of company products in the vehicle and in the team environment.
• Professional development for your staff or apprentices.
• Presence at trade expos and career events.
• Media exposure gained by a solar vehicle team in one season is valued in excess of $250 000.

The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is a two year cycle culminating with the October Challenge from Darwin to Adelaide in the uneven years (ie 2023, 2025)

Naming rights

“Naming rights sponsorship” is for calendar years 2022 and 2023. All our communications, media and publicity will refer to the “(naming rights
sponsor) solar car”. There is only one sponsor at this level.

It provides benefits of:
• sponsor naming rights to our solar car
• several corporate visits by our solar car and team
• dominant marketing space on our solar car and support trailers
• dominant online marketing space
• links to services and products
• joint projects with our solar car team.

Platinum

Platinum sponsorship covers the calendar years 2022 and 2023.
There are multiple sponsors at this level.

It provides benefits of:
• one corporate visit by our solar car and team
• prescribed lesser badging on our solar car and on support trailers
• online marketing space
• links to services and products
• joint projects with our solar car team.

Gold

Gold sponsorship covers the calendar years 2022 and 2023.
There are multiple sponsors at this level.

It provides benefits of:
• prescribed lesser badging on our solar car and on support trailers

Silver

Silver sponsorship covers the calendar years 2022 and 2023.
