This website is operated by SA Solar Vehicle Association Incorporated (South Australian association registration A44408). “South Australian Solar Vehicle Association” and “SASVA” are used on this website as public-facing names.

SASVA is a volunteer-run, community-based organisation based in South Australia, Australia. It develops solar vehicle projects and is exploring possible future education and community engagement.

Use the website contact form for current organisational details or a privacy enquiry. The form records the enquiry in SASVA's private portal for authorised follow-up.

SASVA may collect the following types of personal data depending on how you interact with us:

• Contact form submissions: Name, email address, optional phone number, topic, source page, and message content when you use our contact form.
• Sponsorship enquiries: Name, organisation, email, phone, and message content submitted via the sponsorship enquiry form.
• Adult membership expressions of interest: Name, email, optional phone number, adult age bracket, school or workplace, interests, skills, and availability. The public membership form is for people aged 18 or older only.
• Newsletter interest: An email address entered in the website footer is stored as a private contact-form record. It is not an automatic subscription to a connected mailing-list provider.
• Support enquiries: Contact details and a message may be recorded for follow-up. The website does not accept donations, collect funds, or enrol a person in a supporter tier.
• Member portal accounts: Email address, full name, and role — managed through our platform provider (Base44).
• Media submissions: Images or other media submitted by members, along with associated metadata (source, ownership, alt text).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Personal data submitted via the SASVA website is stored securely through our platform provider (Base44). Access to personal data is restricted to authorised SASVA committee members and administrators.

SASVA takes reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorised access, however no digital system can guarantee absolute security. If you have concerns, please contact us.

The public membership expression-of-interest form is for adults aged 18 or older. SASVA does not currently confirm under-18 membership, placements, mentoring, visits or activities through this website.

A parent, guardian or school representative may use the contact form to register general interest without submitting unnecessary personal information about a child. Any future youth activity requires a named youth-safety owner and prior approval of supervision, Working With Children Check requirements, guardian consent, emergency arrangements, safety controls and any required PPE.

The SASVA website may use cookies and basic analytics as part of our hosting platform. We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools.

SASVA does not collect or store payment card, bank, wallet, platform login, donation-payment, or supporter-tier enrolment details through this website. The website does not currently accept donations, collect funds, or activate supporter tiers.

A support enquiry may record contact details and a message for authorised follow-up only. If SASVA later publishes an approved external payment link, the privacy terms of that external provider will apply and this notice will be updated where required.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data held by SASVA. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. SASVA will respond to requests within a reasonable timeframe, subject to applicable law.
