These terms apply to all visitors, members, sponsors, volunteers, and other users of the SASVA website and programs.

This website is operated by SA Solar Vehicle Association Incorporated (South Australian association registration A44408). “South Australian Solar Vehicle Association” and “SASVA” are used on this website as public-facing names.

SASVA is a volunteer-run, community-based organisation operating in South Australia.

SASVA operates on a volunteer basis. While we aim to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, no guarantees are made regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content on this website.

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use this website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of any third party.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website, its hosting infrastructure, or any associated systems.

The content on this website is provided for general information only. SASVA makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for any particular purpose.

Information about events, possible programs, sponsorship discussions, and adult membership expressions of interest is subject to change. Formal arrangements require separate confirmation from an authorised SASVA representative.

The public membership form is an expression of interest for adults aged 18 or older. Submitting it does not create membership, a volunteer role, a placement, mentoring, workshop access, insurance cover, or permission to attend an activity.

Any adult participation must be confirmed separately and may require agreements, induction, supervision, safety directions, PPE, workshop procedures and event requirements.

Use the contact form to ask about volunteer agreements, waivers, insurance arrangements or safety requirements.

SASVA does not currently confirm under-18 membership, volunteering, placements, mentoring, visits or activities through this website. A parent, guardian or school representative may use the contact form to register general interest without submitting unnecessary personal information about a child.

Before any youth activity can be offered, SASVA must appoint and record a named youth-safety owner, and that owner must approve supervision, Working With Children Check requirements, guardian consent, emergency arrangements, safety controls and any required PPE.

Only confirmed public events are intended to be published as events. Possible school visits, workshops and youth activities are registration-of-interest concepts until the required approvals and safeguards are recorded.

Confirmed events remain subject to change, postponement, or cancellation. SASVA will endeavour to communicate changes as early as possible. SASVA accepts no liability for costs incurred as a result of changes.

Sponsorship material on this website is non-binding discussion material only. It does not confirm a challenge entry, current sponsor relationship, price, package, benefit, recognition or naming right. Any arrangement requires a separate written agreement with an authorised SASVA representative.

SASVA does not currently accept donations, collect funds, activate supporter tiers, or collect card, bank, wallet or payment-login details through this website. A support enquiry records contact details and a message for follow-up only.

If an approved external payment service is introduced later, its terms, fees, refund settings, privacy practices and checkout process will apply. SASVA will not ask you to enter card numbers or payment secrets into a SASVA website form.

A contact, sponsorship, support or newsletter-interest submission is stored as a private portal record for authorised SASVA follow-up. Entering an email in the footer does not automatically subscribe you to a connected newsletter provider.

Submission does not guarantee a response, create a contract or confirm any event, program, membership, sponsorship, payment or other arrangement.

All SASVA-owned content, images, logos, and materials are the property of SASVA. Use of SASVA materials requires written permission from an authorised SASVA representative.

Third-party images and materials displayed on this website are subject to their respective owners' rights and permissions. See our Media Permissions Policy for details.

This website may contain links to external websites. SASVA does not control external websites and accepts no responsibility for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
