About SASVA
The South Australian Solar Vehicle Association (SASVA) is a community-led, volunteer-driven association developing Sun Sprite and preparing for future solar-vehicle challenges, including the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge (BWSC). Future entry remains subject to the event's requirements and SASVA's readiness.
The BWSC is a solar vehicle endurance challenge from Darwin to Adelaide that attracts teams from Australia and overseas. SASVA's project provides a practical platform for developing South Australian engineering capability while preparing for possible future participation.
SASVA provides a platform for adult volunteers, apprentices, students, emerging engineers, tradespeople and professionals to discuss possible practical roles. Submission does not confirm a role or activity.
No under-18 activity is confirmed through this prospectus. A future youth activity requires a named youth-safety owner and approved supervision, Working With Children Check, guardian-consent, emergency, safety and PPE arrangements.
